Pick n Pay

Client Aims:

To kick start the Smart Shopper programme in Pick n Pay stores nationwide.

Activation Results:

Together with Smollan, we successfully launched the Smart Shopper programme in almost 600 Pick n Pay stores. Kits containing Point of Sale elements, uniforms and all necessary materials were delivered and distributed to all Brand Ambassadors, Pick n Pay staff and stores over night. Over 3000 people worked together on this activation to ensure exceptional results.

We trained a team of 1600 Smart Shopper Brand Ambassadors and placed them in and around stores for a period of 2 months. Over 4.2 million shoppers filled out application forms during the launch alone.


160% of Pick n Pay’s targeted number of shoppers signed up to the programme in a hugely successful campaign nationwide.
